The Japanese have a word to describe the blurred part of a photograph: it’s bokeh. Connoisseurs of fine lenses will actually debate the quality of the bokeh produced by different lenses.

I kind of like the bokeh in this shot.

  1. Hey Nathan,

We came from Vermont to visit our relatives in Larkspur last late-February and went to the Civic Center farmer’s market the morning after having arrived. It was amazing to see all this fresh food, color, and variety having come from a world of white. We had a lot of fun!

    Cheers

  2. yeah, the bokeh’s okay–but Electric Sheep! That’s awesome. Somebody clearly got bored at the roastery one day.

  3. dave/ my brother is contemplating some organic farming opportunities up in vermont. it’s such a civilized state. i hope to visit him one day if he makes the move.

laura/ fancy meeting you here! i wonder if the sheep part is referring to the decaf component of the coffee?
