Route Map……Sabino Canyon Trail with elevation chart
Note to self: starting at my house — rather than the Sabino trail head — would make this an interesting 30 mile ride.

Hmmm…that’s a complicated calculation I think. The average “grade change” of a roadway is measured in percent (%). And there are on-line calculators available. But I believe this is different from “degree of incline,” which suggests an angle measured in degrees. Using estimates from my elevation chart results in a percent grade change of about 13%. But the horizontal distance should be the straight line measurement and my elevation chart includes curves in the road. So I’m not sure how accurate this really is…Anyhow, thanks for visiting and happy cycling!
